Help Us Protect Canada-U.S. Fair Trade

We are a coalition of industry, municipalities, and the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters association working to prevent the devastating consequences of the protectionist Buy America legislation recently introduced in the U.S.  We are simply fighting for fair trade, not favouritism.  We are prepared to compete with anyone.  However, if U.S. companies want to continue to have free access to the Canadian infrastructure market, then it is only reasonable that this privilege is reciprocal.  Companies across Canada are fighting to survive against this sudden ban on “Made In Canada” products for U.S. infrastructure projects. This is nothing short of a crisis and we must respond in the strongest way possible to keep vital infrastructure markets open between Canada and the U.S., and to give our government the necessary tools to negotiate the return of the principle of reciprocal trade.
